Christian Conspiracy Coalition (The Warrior King and Prince of Peace)
from You’re Missen the Point · host drewmissen88
Welcome back for another episode of Christian Conspiracy Coalition. A place where the best minds in the conspiracy realm gather to share and discuss their faith, Christianity and the spiritual war thrust upon humanity. What image comes to mind when you hear the word God? Is it the gentle Jesus who taught, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” or the Yahweh of the Old Testament who led Israel into battle, brought judgment upon nations, and was even described in Exodus 15:3 as “a warrior”. Can the God who commands, “You shall not murder,” also command armies to fight? Are the acts of divine judgment and warfare in the Old Testament at odds with the message of peace and forgiveness proclaimed by Jesus Christ? Or do they reveal a deeper truth about God's character one that includes both justice and mercy, holiness and love? To ask whether God is a “God of war” is really to ask a much larger question: Who is God? Is He primarily a warrior who fights for His people, a loving Father who seeks peace, or somehow both? And if the God of Yahweh and the God revealed in Jesus Christ are one and the same, what does this mean for how we understand violence, justice, and the nature of God Himself? These questions have challenged believers and sceptics alike for centuries, inviting us to wrestle with one of the Bible's most profound tensions: How can the God who bears the sword of judgment also be the God who stretches out his hands in sacrificial love? To help me discuss this topic and more I am joined on the panel to day by; - Brandon Kroll of the Manna Daily Podcast https://www.patreon.com/TheMannaDailyPodcast?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_fan&utm_content=join_link - Luka of the Justified Belief Podcast https://open.spotify.com/show/4UYLENLZZJlPIpCkyczF1Z?si=8d6ddfba444047be We went on to discuss; - Yahweh (God) of the Old Testament. - Jesus Christ (God) of the New Testament. - Secular and historical reasoning for war (resource scarcity). - Is violence and war biblically justified? - Jonah and Nineveh (a modern allegory for man's intentions vs Gods). - The parallels of Christ and Cain. - Etymology of war. - The Crusades. - Papacy Warmongering VS Orthodox endurance. - The desires of man and moral decay. - Yahwism and theological contamination. - Are cities architectural vessels for demonic entities? And much much more... *This podcast and the information presented are for entertainment or informational purposes.
