He has been involved in devising the EU’s cybersecurity strategy and in coordinating EU interoperable COVID-19 contact tracing apps. He previously served as Head of the Private Office of the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS). Before joining the EDPS, Mr D’Cunha was involved in leading the review of the data retention directive and in negotiations on the EU’s internal security strategy.
