Christian - Male midwife, Remote Community Midwifery

In this episode we chat with Christian, a male midwife who is caring for women in remote communities in the Northern Territory. Christian shares his journey into midwifery and the experiences he faced whilst completing placements in such a fiercely female dominated profession. It was so interesting to gain some perspective from a male student and also get some insight into cultural safety practices and Christian’s research on male partner’s ability to support and empower women!
