Christina and Michael Gilchrist: The Blind Chick Living, and inspiring, on dialysis

Christina Gilchrist was diagnosed from a young age with kidney disease and has persevered with two kidney transplants, 20 years of dialysis, medical complications, and even becoming blind. Over the years, and with the help of her amazing husband/caretaker, Michael, she has found a manageable to live her life to the fullest using home and portable hemodialysis. Together they can camp, motorcycle, advocate for medical change, and more. Through their Facebook page, BLIND CHICK Living - on Dialysis and group Living!!! On Dialysis, they inspire other dialysis patients to take control of their condition and continue to live their lives to the fullest, even on dialysis.
