Christmas: A Season of Epiphanies | Throwback

In this throwback episode of the Catholic Link podcast, Fr. Conrad Murphy is joined by Fr. Alec to discuss the Season of Christmas and how Christ, the Messiah, is made manifest to the world through his birth at Christmas, the Epiphany, his baptism in the Jordan, his miracle at the Wedding Feast at Cana, and finally his presentation in the temple on February 2nd, Candlemas. This time of year is an incredible grouping of feasts that show that Christ is finally present in the world. You can make this time of year last all year round by bringing Christ to everyone you meet and share his love and his light with those who may not know him. Here at the Catholic Link podcast, we wish you a merry Christmas. Be sure to celebrate Christ's birth into the New Year because it is its own liturgical season! When most Catholics think of epiphany, they only think of when the three wisemen visit Jesus. In truth, the entire Christmas season is a season of epiphanies! Fr. Conrad and Fr. Alec go more in depth on advent, Christmas day, Nativity, Presentation, Baptism of the Lord, and all the ways Christ makes Himself known to the world!
