Christmas at Banner: Joy in the Mess - Ryan Kim

In this Advent message, Pastor Ryan continues the Christmas series by exploring “Joy in the Mess” from Luke 2:4–20, reminding us that Jesus often meets us in the most broken and ordinary places. He unpacks how true Christian joy goes deeper than a good mood—it’s rooted in the good news that Christ came to save, deliver, and set us free. Through the story of the manger, the shepherds, and the angel’s proclamation of “great joy,” we’re invited to make room for Jesus in every part of our lives and place our full weight on Him in faith.
