Christmas at LifeWell — Love
from LifeWell Messages
The closing Christmas message names love as the glue that holds the whole story together. The gift of Jesus is described as thoughtful because it meets our deepest need, priceless because we could never earn it, and timeless because God's grace does not end. From Galatians 4:4-5 , the teaching argues Jesus came in the fullness of time, born under the law to redeem those under it, so that we might be adopted as sons and daughters. Ephesians 1 expands the privileges of that adoption: chosen, blameless, sealed, and counted as God's possession. The heart of the message is that love freely received must be freely given. Using 1 Corinthians 13 , it presses past sentimentality to love as action, then reframes the chapter for the chaos of the holidays, where love sets aside the decorating to embrace the people in the room.
