"Christmas at Thompson Hall" follows Mrs. Brown, a determined Englishwoman who drags her reluctant, throat-ailing husband from Paris to join the Thompson family Christmas gathering. In the dead of night, she sneaks through the hotel to fetch mustard for his sore throat — only to apply it to a sleeping stranger.
