Christmas Essentials. December 8, 2019
from TNAZ SERMONS Hosted by Pastor Rob Brooks
Pastor Rob Brooks. Tehachapi Church of the Nazarene Matthew 3:10-12 & Luke 3:10-14 The essentials of Christmas! We often define them in terms of wrapping paper, tape, bright lights on our trees and the wonderful food of the season. But what of the Essentials of Christmas for our spiritual lives? Within our second Sunday of Advent we find ourselves, once again, in the wilderness. The wilderness is often a place where we take inventory, a place where we assess, where is it that we find ourselves walking with God? In our text and the day that we live, we can, once again, hear the faint cry in that wilderness, “make ready the way of the Lord!” The question is always “what should we do?” Join us, this Sunday as we share from Matthew 3:10-12 & Luke 3:10-14
