Christmas Special - Kind Papa Panov

On Christmas Eve, Papa Panov, the shoe-maker has a dream that Jesus Christ himself will visit the next day. As Christmas dawns, Papa Panov starts to watch for and await his visitor at the front window of his shop. Did Jesus Christ finally visit Papa Panov? Let us find out in this story….. This Christmas story is based on a verse from the Bible, book of Matthew chapter 25 , verse 35: that reads: "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me"  This wonderful story was translated into English by Leo Tolstoy. The original story was written in French by Ruben Saillens and demonstrates the virtues of kindness and compassion.
