As Christians, we often talk about having a vision of the world to come. A vision of hope and universal peace and unconditional love, firmly established in Heaven. It is a vision of unity and healing in Christ. But how does vision and looking to a “world to come”, affect real discourse and change in our broken world now? Inspirational leaders and prophets across time and distance had the ability to glimpse a different tomorrow, and invite people to live in the awareness that there is a new creation, bursting forth in the midst of this one.
