A (relatively) in-depth analysis of Ride Like the Wind by American singer-songwriter and musician Christopher Cross.Released in 1980, Ride Like the Wind was the lead single from Cross' Grammy-winning 1979 self-titled debut album. On the album's inner sleeve, Cross dedicated this song to Lowell George, formerly of the band Little Feat (do take a listen to my Little Feat episode). The song features backing vocals by Michael McDonald.
