CHROMAKOPIA - Tyler The Creator
from Pitch Perfect Hosted by Landon Hayes
Tyler, the Creator’s latest album, "CHROMAKOPIA," is an explosive journey through a world of color, darkness, and everything in between. With the gritty opener "St. Chroma," Tyler sets the stage for a vibrant and haunting experience, leading us into tracks like "Noid," where his paranoia about fame crackles through tense, charged beats. Collaborations with Teezo Touchdown, Childish Gambino, Lil Wayne, and Daniel Caesar elevate each track, from the playful chaos of "Sticky" to the introspective "Take Your Mask Off." The album’s standout moments—like the raw energy of "Thought I Was Dead" with Schoolboy Q—show Tyler grappling with his own identity, while the nostalgic closing track, "I Hope You Find Your Way Home," gives a sense of reflection. "CHROMAKOPIA" isn’t just music; it’s an invitation into Tyler’s world, where each beat and lyric paints a complex, unforgettable mural of his evolution.
