Chronicle 12: "A Deadly Carjacking... and Some Other Murders"

This episode is rated a 5 (on my Serious Crime Scale). It’s the story of two college students, 19-year-olds Dominique Hurd and Peter Robertson, who were attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 1998. After having dinner at a restaurant one night, the two students were in the parking lot, taking pictures, when a stranger approached them from seemingly out of nowhere, held them at gunpoint, and forced them to drive to a discrete rural area. Once there, the gunman taunted the students for a while before ultimately pumping bullets into both of them and leaving them for dead.
