In prison God grants him favor and he correctly interprets dreams of the cupbearer and baker.- Matthew 6:1-24: Jesus teaches against showy piety in giving, prayer, and fasting. He gives the Lord's Prayer, stresses secret devotion, heavenly treasure, single-eyed service to God, and freedom from worry about material needs.
