The online world sells coaching in SO MANY ways, including "laptop lifestyle, beachside with a drink" - but is this actually what we want? What is YOUR deal with booze? To be cool? To socialize or look good? Or is it a crutch and avoidance of what's going on inside of you?This convo was fire, no surprise there. But I am particularly thrilled about this one because booze isn't often given the stage and safety to think about WHY we drink. Chrystal drank for the wrong reasons until 2018, as a way to avoid, pretend and show up for others rather than herself. Giving up booze led her into an identity shift, where she had to navigate even more of herself than when she was drinking. Are you following me? The real work began when the distraction was removed!
