Happy 4th of July week. As we celebrate our freedom we hope that you'll join us in giving thanks to those who gave us our independence, going all the way back to 1776. We give thanks to those that have safeguarded us ever since, current active duty military and especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives so that we may live ours in freedom. Today on the show our guest is rapper author producer activist founding member of public enemy and prophets of rage, one of the greatest MCs of our time, Chuck D. We talk about a musician's role in the world, and despite his confrontational political and musical stance, he's able to get along with absolutely everyone.
