CIA Officer Facing Theft Charges

Former FBI Special Agent in Charge Rich Frankel talks about how ABC News on Thursday obtained the military records of David Rush, the former CIA officer charged with fraud after the FBI found millions of dollars in gold bars, cash, and luxury watches at his home. On paper, his records show a typical career. Rush served in the Navy from 1997 to 2015, including a two-year break in service between 2002 and 2004. He initially enlisted and served on active duty where he tried out for Navy special operations. He was commissioned into the Navy Reserve as a Cryptologic Warfare officer in 2004 and where he spent remainder of his military career in sea service. There is nothing in his records suggesting he has any pilot experience, despite Rush's claim. But does the information shed any light on how Rush was able to convince the U.S. government to give him millions in gold bars?
