Cicero launches flood prevention program for homeowners

The Cicero Basement Flood Prevention Program is being funded by just over $20 million in federal grant money. Homeowners who qualify can get financial assistance to install back-flow prevention systems to help reduce the risk of flooding and sewer backups in their homes during heavy rains.
