제98주년 삼일절에 박근혜 대통령 탄핵을 촉구하는 촛불집회와 친박 단체들의 탄핵 반대 집회가 각각 열렸다. 친박 단체들은 이날도 어김없이 태극기와 성조기를 흔들며 "탄핵 대상은 박 대통령이 아니라 국회다" "박 대통령을 지키자"는 둥 주장을 펼쳤다. 촛불집회 참가자들은 "일제 치하에서 선열들이 목숨을 걸고 지킨 태극기가 박 대통령을 비호하는 데 쓰이는 게 속상하다"며 안타까움을 나타냈다.
