Cincinnati Eyes Big Local Talent | Big 12 Basketball News

Cincinnati’s big recruiting push is heating up as they eye top local talent: four-star power forward Davis Cochran, a 6’9” Tennessee native with 24 offers and elite EYBL stats, is narrowing his list to eight schools — including Cincinnati, where he already visited. His size, skill, and state ranking make him a potential game-changer for the Bearcats. Meanwhile, on the football side, they’ve extended an offer to massive 6’7”, 250-pound offensive tackle Liam Barrett from Illinois — a 2028 prospect with just one other offer. Both signings signal Cincinnati’s serious commitment to building a powerhouse across sports.
