Cincinnati, US Open Mixed, Open Wild Cards AND the Summer of Eala

In "Serving Aces" Alexandra Stevenson and Hugues Laverdiere go over Cincinnati results.  They give shout outs to Eala and Shelton - both out of Cincinnati - but Alexandra says it's good for both of them going into the US Open.  They question the play of Alcaraz and Rudd in the mixed doubles - doubting that Alcaraz will play singles.  Alexandra gives a rundown of the mixed doubles, a fiery exhibition before the main draw for the top players.  In newsy notes she mentions the potential sale of the LA Lakers - with the recent stop from Jeannie Buss, whose family still controls 17.8 percent.  Buss is the Governor of the Lakers and wants to remain in that role.  Her brothers want to sell.  They will stand to make 2.5 billion out of the 12.5 billion that is being offered for the sale - from Josh Kushner and Disney's Bob Iger.  Fun note  - Kate Hudson appeared in "Running Point" - a semi autobiographical television series based on Jeannie Buss and the Lakers.
