from This Ends at Prom Hosted by Brennan Klein
"You didn't need my help. You just thought you did. Believe in yourself, Cinderella, and trust him to love you as you really are." For the third week of MAY-usical Month, we're joined by Venchise Glenn to look at one of the most successful TV Movies of all time, CINDERELLA (1997). Harmony gushes over the costumes, BJ reminisces about being a baby belt singer, and Venchise dives deep into what happens when beloved characters are re-cast with Black actors. ----- Articles Discussed The Whitney/Brandy Cinderella Was One Of The Most Important Movies Of The '90s: https://www.elle.com/culture/movies-tv/a13130805/whitney-brandy-cinderella-20th-anniversary/ Critics ridiculed Brandy's 'Cinderella.'
