On this spectacular episode we are joined by scholar and friend of the show Willa-Rae Culpepper to discuss new A24 film Civil War. Culpepper studies conflicts, and brings her incredible expertise as well as a good helping of nerdiness to our conversation. Josh and I both felt like Civil War really missed the mark in some ways, but brought up interesting discussion in others, and Willa was struck by the ways the film reflected the realities on the ground in Civil conflicts.
