CIT and Hydrafacial

CIT (collagen induction therapy), also known as micro-needling, has been a very popular treatment for our clients over the last few months, so we wanted to get together today to talk about what it is and what it does! On average, we lose about 1% of our collagen each year after the age of twenty, and CIT can help build it back. The process involves creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to prompt collagen production. Although controlled micro-injuries may sound a bit alarming at first, rest assured that it is a comfortable, painless procedure with a quick and easy recovery time. Results, while not instantaneous, are also relatively quick, as they can be seen within a few weeks to a few months. We encourage you to talk to your provider to ask about CIT.
