The United Nations Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna and flora - CITES - meeting has come to an end on yesterday at the Sandton Conventon Centre north of Johannesburg in South Africa. South Africa's minister of environment Edna Molewa says the 17th Conference of the parties to CITES was a success as it adopted most of its proposals through concensus and accommodated a variety of discussions on curbing illegal trade in global wildlife.
