Citizenry Split Between Tighter, Looser, No Restrictions on STR

Short-term rentals continued to dominate the latest Crested Butte Town Council meeting. Citizens spoke on behalf of tighter restrictions in light of the "green zone" revelation. Others spoke on behalf of looser or no restrictions in order to not punish locals using short-term rentals as a way to help stay afloat in Crested Butte. No action was taken. The council will discuss short-term rentals again in early February.
