Citizens of Heaven

From our Philippians series. Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi was written to a group of people living in a Roman colony with all of the privileges and responsibilities of Roman citizens. Yet, Paul reminds them in Philippians 3:15-21 that, when they bowed their knees to King Jesus, their citizenship changed. Their country of birth was no longer their homeland, but their citizenship was now in heaven, and they were now called to live out that new identity as a redemptive presence in a land no longer their own.For more information, visit canopy.church.
