Citizens of Heaven: The Cross, Character, and Our Coming King

In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we walk carefully through Philippians 3:18–21 and confront the sobering contrast Paul presents: two trajectories, two identities, two outcomes. With pastoral tears, Paul warns of those who live as enemies of the cross, driven by appetite and earthly focus. Yet he lifts our eyes to a greater reality. Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior who will transform us by His resurrection power.   From that theological foundation, we turn to life inside Berean Baptist Academy. We celebrate birthdays, share lunch announcements, and speak plainly about enrollment urgency as seats continue to fill and placement testing begins.   In the Final Pour, we examine Part Six of our new Parental Covenant: Integrity, Honesty, and Appropriate Use of Resources. We explore why academic honesty is not merely policy compliance but a New Covenant issue of heart transformation. Character formation, not short-term performance, is the true aim of Christian education. This episode calls families to clarity, courage, and consistency as citizens of heaven raising children for eternity.
