Sara Eisenberg, Deputy City Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco and Muriel Parenteau the Chair of Disabled Students Programs and Services at City College of San Francisco and Wendy Kaufmyn Professor of Engineering at City College of San Francisco as well as Eric Estrada a City College of San Francisco student An on-going discussion that runs through the interviews and shows is the conflict between community colleges only accepting students who will get a certificate, or an Associate Arts degree or transfer to a 4 Year School; Verses community college as a community asset that supports citizens to be life long learners through providing Open Access to education so that community members can continue to reinvent themselves through education to address life changes such as re-training to secure new job skills.
