City of Elmendorf announces Stage 3 water restrictions

The city of Elmendorf has announced Stage 3 water restrictions until further notice. Under Stage 3, all water customers served by the city water system should reduce water consumption; specific prohibitions and limitations apply. This includes: •Irrigation with a soaker hose, hose-end sprinkler, or in-ground irrigation system is allowed every other week beginning on the second Monday after the stage 3 has been declared, from 3-8 a.m. and 8-10 p.m., according to the last digit of customer address — 0 or 1, Monday; 2 or 3, Tuesday; 4 or 5, Wednesday; 6 or 7, Thursday; and 8 or 9, Friday....
