City of Joburg says it's making progress in its fight against crime

SAfm — Scores of shops selling fake goods have been closed down by Joburg Metro Police following several raids. This comes on the back of an announcement by the City of Joburg mayor Herman Mashaba that the municipality is making headway in its fight against crime. Mashaba has realeased the city's monthly crime stats for November in the city today. He says money derived from the sale of counterfeit goods is being used to fund other crimes.
