City of the Crimson Tower, Chapter 10: "Still Human"

from Go Buff Yourself! · host Thousand Faces / Ethan Brandt

Our five protagonists -- Brawk, Hawthorne, Gloria, Karina, and Nyne -- have left the nightmare of the Durst Estate behind them, though emotional and psychological aftershocks have followed them into the town of Bridgewater. They now seek rest and refuge in a local bar and motel, where they are approached by Mark, the interim Mayor of Bridgewater, who offers them a drink and requests their assistance.Using the story of Curse of Strahd as a foundation, we're changing things up by turning up the horror elements, using the Savage Worlds system and setting our story in a noir dark city. Content Warning for The City of the Crimson Tower generally - City of the Crimson Tower is a dark, 18+ game and most episodes have a high likelihood of featuring the following potentially distressing topics: adult language, fantasy violence, memory loss, depression, emotional abuse and manipulation, hallucinations, guns and bladed weaponry, grief, trauma, emesis, complex and complicated relationships, and depictions of gore and blood. You can watch past sessions on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZFlmzz8Up75qaxPxzTuZtXwLb2XYq0R4) DM: Ethan Brandt (Thousand Faces Cosplay / The Buff DM)Brawk: Lauren (95PercentLauren / Thousand Faces Cosplay)Karina: Matty (mithril_cosplays)Hawthorne: Sally (SallyQuinnCreations)Nyne: Mav (DigitalClubhouseTV)Gloria: Anna Margaret (itsannamargaret)Ambient noise provided by Monument Studios Fantasy+, www.MyNoise.net, ASKII, Syrinscape, and TableTopAudio Ending track: "Dead Wrong" by Jeremy Blake Additional Sound Effects from Pixabay.
