This week Phillip is joined by his new friend from Cinema Force on Youtube and Instagram, Erik Clapp. The two of them discuss City of the Living Dead (1980) AKA The Gates of Hell (released in the states in 1983). Erik starts by telling the listeners about his cinema appreciation videos on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@cinemaforce1/videos and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/cinema_force/. They pay some respect to Michael Gambon who passed away recently. Phillip then reads the general information about the movie, with a little facts sprinkled in. It's then time for Listener' Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Then it's time to talk about Lucio Fulci's movie City of the Living Dead, especially the ending (It's a great conversation.). Phillip reads a contemporary review. They talk about what they think Tarantino liked or used from the film, if anything. Then they individually rate the movie. They answer the question whether they would buy this movie, rent it, or find it for free. It's then time for Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) (4.5 stars.). Phillip and Erik then talk about physical media VS digital, and what they have in their collection. They discuss a little about their movie posters that they own or want. Phillip then talks about Chip coming back once a month starting on October 13th and the movie they are going to discuss is Blood Simple (1984). Thanks for listening.
