City Pushes Regent Street Redesign Forward, Leaving Bike Lanes for Other Streets

Madison alders unanimously approved Tuesday a redesign of Regent Street, a major east-west street for pedestrian, business, and commuter use. The redesign eliminates the two lane traffic for both sides – allowing for a larger pedestrian sidewalk – and a cut-out delivery and parking zones, among other changes.
