Last time on Crown of the Kobold King, our heroes recovered from the mechanical anvil battle. They found a dwarven corpse in the room with a mysterious magical gauntlet, and Monet tried it on. She immediately felt a sharp pain and her hand was forced into a permanent fist, everyone learned that the gauntlet was powerful but also cursed. Our party moved into the next room to discover that it is a place for communicating to different areas around the underground forge. Rootmoore listened to a speaker hole and heard a frightened man deep in prayer, the missing hunter from the first episode! The group decided to make haste towards him, but they were attacked by a shadow creature in the room!
