from Clare FM · host Clare FM

It's claimed carers in Clare are struggling financially as a result of 'six years of broken promises'. It comes as Family Carers Ireland found those in local authority housing in Clare pay €77.50 a week in rent, 58% more than Monaghan which was found to be the cheapest in the country. The Government committed to standardising the Differential Rent Scheme in the program for Government in 2020. Clare Aontú rep June Dillon says it's high time carers nationwide are treated fairly.
