Claire Libby: Empowering the Next Generation

In this episode of Real World HR, host Louise Kennedy is joined by Claire Libby. Claire Libby is a certified health coach and the Director and Founder of 'i am me', the Community Interest Company that supports the mental health and wellbeing of young people. Via the free app, which supplies resources including tools, tips, and insights, 'i am me' enables teenagers and young adults to understand what it takes to become active participants in their own mental health and wellbeing journey. Claire is also a Director at Linac Learning, a consultancy specialising in Learning and Development supporting from entry level apprentices through to board level executives. Claire leads the Early Careers Development programmes, supporting the transition of young people from education into business, ensuring that they are set up to thrive and that they become part of a robust talent pipeline. In 2021, Claire qualified as a health coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Claire is now completing the final stages of her MSc in Psychology. On the podcast, Louise and Claire chat about the work Claire does, and why she decided to work with young people in the mental health sector. Claire also shares how her work has evolved, and how her background in HR has given her the tools to help young people when they transition into the workforce.
