Hello and welcome to this week's episode of My Big Idea with our guest, Radio 1 live Lounge DJ, Clara Amfo. My Big idea is an Asos podcast giving young women advice and inspiration to start their own businesses. London- born Clara Amfo is a dynamic young broadcaster who can currently be heard on Radio 1. Starting out her radio career at KISS FM, she later joined BBC Radio 1Xtra to present the weekend breakfast show, after being nominated for a Sony Radio Award in the 'Rising Star' category. In January 2015, Clara began her stint as the new presenter of The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1 and in May she joined the Radio 1 weekday schedule taking over the prestigious “10-1″ and Live Lounge slot from Fearne Cotton. Clara has since reported from vastly popular events in the UK including Wireless, Global Gathering, SW4 and NASS festivals.In this broadcast Asos editor Naomi Attwood talks to Clara about how she approached her broadcasting career and continues to make waves in the music industry.
