Clara White Mission

Ju’Coby Pittman , CEO of the Clara White Mission came by the show to talk about the legacy of The Clara White Mission founded in 1904 . She talked about former slave Clara English White who fed hungry neighbors from her two-room house on Clay Street. She also spoke about her daughter, nationally recognized humanitarian Dr. Eartha M. M. White, who molded the labor of love into a thriving social agency. We also talked about the upcoming December to Remember where V101.5, The Clara White Mission, McGowan Medical Centers and local sororities and fraternities are making it a December to Remember for five families in need this Christmas!
