Clare County Council Discusses Tackling Misinformation

Clare County Council could potentially roll out training for elected representatives on how to deal with misinformation, disinformation and malinformation.   It follows a cross-party motion put forward on the matter at yesterday's meeting of the local authority.   Councillors say the issue is damaging community cohesion and public discourse and causing unnecessary fear and anxiety locally.   Clare FM's Daragh Dolan spoke to Shannonbanks Sinn Féin Cllr James Ryan on the matter, but first Lisdoonvarna Fine Gael Cllr Joe Garrihy.
