Clare European Volunteering Capital 2027: Faces Of Volunteering: Seán Roche

Clare is preparing to celebrate its title as European Volunteering Capital 2027, recognising the thousands of people across the county who give their time to support their communities.  One of those volunteers is Seán Roche from Kilnaboy, whose volunteering journey began as a teenager in 1967 and has continued across youth work, community development, sport and local organisations.  Alan Morrissey was speaking to Seán about his remarkable volunteering journey, the importance of community spirit, and what Clare’s European title means for the future of volunteering.
