Clariel- Episode 8

Thank you very much to Yama for commissioning this episode! I can't believe this book doesn't end with Clariel turning permanently into the person we know she will become. I'm okay with that, because it's a real subversion of my expectation, but I'm left feeling almost sorrier than I would have been otherwise. Knowing that she gets a reprieve and still winds up as she does somehow makes it worse.
