Clarke - Episode 054

Clarke, formerly known as CB, is a Kansas City rapper who's been releasing mixtapes since 2010. Mixing the local grit and fonk he was raised on with the modern trap sounds that have emerged from Atlanta and Memphis in the '10s, he's grown to be one of the scene's most consistent talents, and something of a lone wolf. On this episode we talked about his three 2018 releases ("Vol. 2," "Rappers Ain't Friends," and "Nice To Hear From You"), The Popper and KC's bay area connection, his favorite food spots, and more.
