Clashing Cultures, Evolving Cinema: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg decided to take Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, the second film of the trilogy, in a different direction from its predecessor. Much like The Empire Strikes Back, Temple of Doom was going to be a much darker film.The production team planned to shoot the film on location in India.
