Classic Comics with Matthew B. Lloyd: “The Astral Avenger” – The Golden Age Starman

After my appearance on Superheroes for Dummies, I decided I wanted to do an episode focused on the Golden Age Starman. We’ll look at the three artists who workded on the strip, Jack Burnley, Mort Meskin and Emil Gershwin. We’ll read through three stories, and take a talk briefly about the two main writers, Alfred Bester and Gardner Fox. You can follow the show @ComicsLloyd on Twitter or send an email to [email protected]. You can find me on Twitter @MattB_Lloyd and at www.dccomicsnews.com where I write reviews and edit news stories.
