Irma hesitates when her friend Amber suggests that Irma test Al's love. Then, Duffy’s Tavern starring Ed Gardner,  originally broadcast March 7, 1944, 82 years ago, Colone1 Stoopnagle. Archie is working on his income tax return, when in walks Colonel Stoopnagle.
