Drama on a SundayFirst, a look at the events of the day.Then, Suspense,  originally broadcast April 5, 1951, 75 years ago,  Murder in G-Flat starring Jack Benny.  The first of four appearances that Jack Benny made on Suspense.  A meek piano tuner's bag of tools is switched in the subway with a bag containing $25,000.Followed by Suspense,  originally broadcast April 5, 1955, 71 years ago, Zero Hour, narrated by John Dehner.  The classic Ray Bradbury tale about Drill and the game of Invasion. Then, Screen Guild Theater, originally broadcast April 5, 1943, 83 years ago, Journey for Margaret starring Robert Young, Anita Louise, and  Margaret O'Brien.   A melodrama about two orphans during the London Blitz.   Robert Young and Margaret O’Brien reprise their roles from the 1942 motion picture, with Anita Louise taking the role of Laraine Day. Followed by Night Watch reported by Donn Reed, originally broadcast April 5, 1954, 72 years ago.   The police department in action...real adventures. No actors, no script. An actual evening in a police car. Burglaries, murders, etc. make interesting listening. The first show of the series. The first call is a burglary in progress on Hazleton Street.  Innovative technology using portable tape recorders…the size of a suitcase.  Finally, Claudia, originally broadcast April 5, 1948, 78 years ago, Hiring a Maid.  Claudia interviews a maid.
