The cast does their annual New Year's allegory: "The New Tenant." "1944" listens to the radio and hears Adolph Hitler on "Double Or Nothing" and Emperor Hirohito asking advice from "Mr. Anthony!" Then, Fibber McGee and Molly,  originally broadcast December 31, 1940, 85 years ago, Fibber Finds A Gold Watch.  Fibber finds a gold watch at the corner of 14th and Oak. Who lost it? Followed by Father Knows Best starring Robert Young, originally broadcast December 31, 1953, 72 years ago, New Year's Sitter.  New Year's Eve turns out to be "a mixed-up scramble."
