Two hours of Crime drama First, a look at this date in history. Then a 90 minute aircheck from WROW in Albany New York from November 17, 1957, 66 years ago. It is likely that this recording originated with Mr. Pat Rispole who lived in the WROW listening area near Albany, NY. He died at 53 years old in 1979. His home recordings in the late 1950s and 1960s are the reasons that many Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, Gunsmoke, and Suspense survive from that era, but also many NY baseball games (Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees, and later Mets) from that period as well. Luckily, Rispole traded his recordings heavily with other OTR fans, so they survived the ebbs and flows of collecting interest among collectors since he passed away. The FBI in Peace and War, Jail Bait.
